c. 1930

Description: Lovely 14k gold studded rosary ring with a tiny cross signet panel. Also known as the "one decade rosary", rosary rings have long been favored by the Catholic community for the transportability and discretion they can offer as an alternative to a traditional full rosary. Typically set with 10 studs and a cross, each tactile design is used to keep track of the number of Hail Mary prayers said within a given set, one stud per prayer. One of the most recognizable devotional jewelry designs throughout history, beginning in the middle ages when the rosary first came into play as a concept.

Ring/band width (N/S): 3.95mm at widest (center front), 1.95mm at narrowest (center back)
Ring depth (max height atop the finger): 1.70mm

Condition: Very good vintage condition, lovely patina and some smoothing down of the studs which makes them all the more comfortable to wear.
