Art Deco Style Twin Hearts Signet Ring

We fell in love with the original late Deco era onyx intaglio signet ring this very special Blazon is inspired by and cast from.

This classic design is prominent in Catholic iconography and features, on the left, the Sacred Heart of Jesus (depicting a crown of thorns said to symbolize his passion for and salvation of humanity, a cross for his ultimate sacrifice, and flames reflecting his love of God, and humanity). On the right, the Immaculate Heart of Mary (depicting flames reflecting her love for her son Jesus, God and humanity, a sword piercing through the heart symbolic of her sorrow for Jesus' suffering, and roses symbolizing her purity and sinlessness).

Also known as the "Twin Hearts", the two together symbolize unconditional love, empathy, devotion, sacrifice and compassion, which are lovely symbolism and virtues regardless of whether or not you practice any spirituality.

The signet face reflects the age-related (going on 100 years!) quirks and unique character of the original antique intaglio signet this ring was cast from, it gives the ring a very special definition, texture and personality all its own.
